MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF

LLANGWM COMMUNITY COUNCIL

TUESDAY 22nd MAY 2018 AT THE PARISH HALL, LLANGWM, COMMENCING AT 7.30PM

COUNCILLORS PRESENT: Cllr David Williams (Chair), Cllr. Bob Trigg, Cllr Gwyn Rowlands, Cllr Peter Gough, Cllr John Watkins, Cllr Malcolm Hatfield and Cllr. Colin Evans

IN ATTENDANCE: County Councillor Bob Greenland and Clerk Shirley Hughes

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

No apologies for absence were received

2. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

Cllr Peter Gough was proposed by Cllr Colin Evans, seconded by Cllr Bob Trigg and as there were no other nominations, Cllr Peter Gough was elected as Chairman unanimously.

3. ELECTION OF VICE-CHAIRMAN

Cllr John Watkins was proposed by Cllr Bob Trigg, seconded by Cllr Colin Evans and there were no other nominations so Cllr John Watkins was elected as Vice Chairman unanimously.

4. ELECTION OF OTHER OFFICERS

a) Parish Hall Representative - Cllr Colin Evans was proposed by Cllr Peter Gough, and seconded by Cllr Gwyn Rowlands. As there were no further nominations, Cllr Evans was elected.

b) One Voice Wales Representative - Cllr Peter Gough proposed and Cllr Colin Evans seconded that as there were no nominations that the Clerk attend when possible.

c) Usk & Surrounding Area Cluster Group Representative - There were no nominations for this role, but the Clerk stated that she would be happy to attend these meeting (when she was able) and would report back to the monthly meetings.

5. MINUTES OF THE 2017 AGM - TUESDAY 16^th MAY 2017

After being circulated, these were taken as a true and correct record for the meeting and the Chairman signed them.

The AGM closed at 7.37 pm.
