MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF

LLANGWM COMMUNITY COUNCIL

TUESDAY 17^TH MAY 2016 AT THE PARISH HALL, LLANGWM, COMMENCING AT 7.30PM

COUNCILLORS PRESENT: Cllr Michael Foster (Chair), Cllr. Bob Trigg, Cllr. Colin Evans, Cllr Gwyn Rowlands, Cllr Peter Gough and Cllr David Williams

IN ATTENDANCE: Caroline Evans and Clerk Shirley Hughes

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from County Councillor Bob Greenland

2. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

Cllr Colin Evans was proposed by Cllr Peter Gough, seconded by Cllr David Williams and as there were no other nominations, Cllr Colin Evans was elected as Chairman unanimously.

3. ELECTION OF VICE- CHAIRMAN

Cllr David Williams was proposed by Cllr Gwyn Rowlands, seconded by Cllr Bob Trigg and there were no other nominations so Cllr David Williams was elected as Vice Chairman unanimously.

4. ELECTION OF OTHER OFFICERS

a) Parish Hall Representative: Cllr Peter Gough was proposed by Cllr Colin Evans, and seconded by Cllr Bob Trigg. As there were no further nominations, so Cllr Gough was elected.

b) One Voice Wales Representative. There were no nominations, so the position remains vacant.

c) Central Monmouthshire Rural Forum: There were no nominations for this role, but the Clerk stated that she would be happy to attend these meeting (when she was able) and would report back to the monthly meetings.

5. MINUTES OF THE 2015 AGM - TUESDAY 19^th MAY 2015

After being circulated, these were taken as a true and correct record for the meeting and the Chairman signed them.

The AGM closed at 7.39 pm.
